Interactive Reports

Who this guide is for

Teams preparing an executive summary or decision report from selected documents.

Before you begin

• Define the report audience, purpose and source document list.
• Identify who will check the completed report, including numbers and source alignment.

Work through the task

1. Select documents for the interactive report and exclude irrelevant or outdated copies.
2. Specify the audience and sections in the request, such as a short summary, findings, open questions and next steps.
3. Start generation and monitor completion. Distinguish streamed fragments from the final saved report.
4. Compare the opened report with its sources. For refinement, request one clear change and check that it appears in the correct report after completion.
5. Find and reopen the report under a distinguishing name. If PDF export is available, separately check text, tables and page layout in the download.

• The report is complete, can be reopened and uses the intended documents.
• Numbers and conclusions remain consistent with sources after refinement.

If something goes wrong

• If the connection drops, check the saved report and job state first. Do not assume automatic continuation or successful recovery.
• If the PDF differs from the displayed report, record the discrepancy and review it before sharing a final copy.

What still needs confirmation

This guide does not assume report version history, undo, automatic recovery from interruption or recovery after deletion.
